The Learning Place Preschool has served the
community of O’Fallon since 1986. Hundreds of children and their
families have experienced the powerful love of Christ through the
commitment, teaching and daily example of our staff and teachers.
Our commitment to the children and their families goes beyond the
time when the children are at The Learning Place Preschool. We
strive to be a resource of encouragement and support for each
family who places their children in our care.

Our Teachers and Staff
One of the greatest and most important
differences between The Learning Place Preschool and any other
preschool of its type is the quality and integrity of our
teachers and staff. We strive to recognize each child's unique
abilities and meet his or her needs in a creative and loving
atmosphere. Our teachers put many hours of preparation into
every program. Beyond teaching, they truly care about each and
every child who comes through the classroom doors. While each
child receives academic instruction, the focus of our teaching
is based more on the development of socialization skills.
What The Learning Place
Offers
The Learning Place Preschool offers a loving
and supportive atmosphere where children feel accepted and are
encouraged to explore. The children learn:
• How to interact with other children
• How to work with others in a group
• Listening skills
• How to follow directions
Each class:
• Paints and learns to use scissors
• Takes field trips
• Has holiday and birthday parties
• Participates in special Christmas and spring programs
Our science class offers hands-on
experimentation, and our movement and music class is a mini
gym class set to music. We strive to bring the highest level
of professionalism to our preschool. We pride ourselves in the
fact that our preschool students have a lot of fun while
learning many of the important skills necessary for school.

Hours:
The Learning Place Preschool is in session during the Ft. Zumwalt
School District calendar year.
The school is open on Mondays/Wednesdays and Tuesdays/Thursdays
from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Costs:
For the cost per child or per family unit, please call the
director during preschool hours.
